I downloaded the Flash 3 beta/Plugin/ActiveX control and my PC with a Cyrix Processor crashes whenever I try to launch Flash 3 or view a movie in my browser
IssueThe beta version of Flash 3 and the plugin and ActiveX Control can cause some PC's with a Cyrix CPU to crash when launched.
ReasonThe Cyrix CPU is incompatible with the MMX acceleration code that was added to Flash 3.
SolutionPlugin and ActiveX Control:The code for the plugin and ActiveX Control has been corrected for version 3,0,7,0 and higher of the Flash players. Verify that you have this version or a later one. If you need to, download and install the latest version by going to the Shockwave Download Center.
To obtain the version number for the ActiveX Control

To obtain the version number for plugin
| 1 | Find the file NPSWF32.dll |
| 2 | Right mouse click and select Properties |
