Additional files
Shared files
There are sometimes Macromedia files under the Shared User account. If you are reinstalling the application, you can leave these files alone. If you are doing a full or clean uninstall, you can remove these files.
Here is an example path for Flash 8:
Users > Shared > Library > Application Support > Macromedia > Flash 8
Extension Manager
It's not necessary to remove Macromedia Extension Manager unless there was a problem with the program, or you want to clean out all Macromedia-related files.
- Applications > Macromedia Extension Manager
- Users > username> Library > Preferences > Extension Manager Prefs
- Users > username > Library > Preferences > com.macromedia.ExtensionManager.plist
