Installing Flex Data Services 2 on ColdFusion MX 7

Issue

Adobe's Flex Data Services 2.0 and ColdFusion 7.0.2 products are both delivered as J2EE web applications (.war or .ear files) that can be deployed on a Java Application Server. ColdFusion also ships with a Java Application Server, JRun, and includes a configuration where ColdFusion is installed pre-deployed on this application server.

Combining these two web applicationsinto a single .war file is an unsupported configuration and is not recommended due to known issues and conflicts. Adding the contents of the Flex web application to the pre-deployed ColdFusion web application is also unsupported.ColdFusion and Flex should be deployed as separate web applications (.war files)or added to a .ear file as two separate, included web applications.
