Contribute 3 and earlier versions are unable to manage more than 20 SFTP connections

Issue

Contribute 3 and earlier versionsare unable toadministrer 20 or more SFTP connections to Contribute Publishing Server. Contribute will not produce an error message with this issue. It will simply stop working properly.

Solution

To solve this issue complete the following steps on your Windows system:

1. Download ct_sftpfix.zip.
2. Extract the files into the following folder C:\Program files\Macromedia\Contribute 3.
   
   Note: This is the default installation folder. If you installed Contribute 3 to a different location, use that path.
3. When prompted to overwrite existing files, click "Yes".
4. Restart CPS from the Windows services panel.
