After uninstalling the Adobe Flash Authoring Extensions, Adobe Flash crashes on launch
Issue
If œAdobe Flash Media Server ActionScript was the last selected item in the combo box of the Actions Toolbox before the Authoring Extensions are uninstalled, Adobe Flash 8 may crash on launch.
Solution
While this is best avoided by selecting anything other than œAdobe Flash Media Server ActionScript in the Actions Toolbox prior to uninstall, if you are currently unable to launch Adobe Flash due to this issue, you can recover by reinstalling the Adobe Flash Authoring Extensions.
Adobe Flash should launch after the extensions are in place. If you select another item in the combo box of the Actions Toolbox before closing Adobe Flash, you should then be able to uninstall the extensions without incident.
