Error 1904 occurs when installing Breeze Presenter on a machine with Flash Player 8 (8.0.24.0)
Issue
When installing Breeze Presenter to a machine that has Flash Player 8 (8.0.24.0) installed, the error message "Error 1904. C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\Flash.ocx failed to register" will pop up on the screen.
Solution
This issue has been brought to the attention of the Breeze Engineering Team and will be addressed in a future release of Breeze. We do not have a specific time frame as to when this issue will be addressed. However, this TechNote will be updated when this issue is resolved.
In the meantime, please go to TechNote tn_14157 and download the Flash Player uninstaller.
After uninstalling Flash Player 8, please download and reinstall Flash Player 8.
At this point, you should no longer see the error dialog box when launching Breeze Presenter.
