Unable to publish from Breeze Presenter

Issue

When publishing locally from Breeze Presenter, the presentation publishing fails and only a data folder is created on your system. When trying to publish to a server from within Breeze Presenter, the server returns a 500 error and the publishing fails.

Reason

Breeze Presenter uses the Microsoft XML Parser during the publishing process. If the Microsoft XML Parser becomes corrupted or is not installed properly, this can cause the publishing processes to fail.

Solution

To correct this problem, download and install the latest version of the Microsoft XML Parser. You can do this by following the directions below:

  1. Exit from PowerPoint.
  2. Download the MSXML.msi installer from Microsoft to your desktop.
  3. Double-click on the MSXML.msi to install the program.
  4. Open your presentation in PowerPoint.
  5. Try again to publish your presentation.
