Uninstalling Macromedia Flash 8
Windows
To uninstall Macromedia Flash 8 or Flash 8 Professional in Windows, use the Add/Remove Programs Control Panel to remove the application.

Mac OS X
Flash 8 can be uninstalled using the Flash 8 installer.
- Launch the Flash 8 Install application.
- Choose "Install" in the Flash 8: Install Macromedia Flash 8 screen.
- Enter your OS X authentication password if requested.
- At the Introduction screen choose "Continue."
- At the License screen choose "Continue."
- Accept the license agreement if requested.
- In the "Select Destination" screen the previously installed location should be the default, assuming your previous installation was not a custom install. Choose "Continue" to proceed.
- At the Installation Type screen choose "Uninstall" in the pop-up menu.
- Choose "Uninstall" to remove the application.
