Markers from imported MP3 files are not recognized

Issue

MP3 audio files containing markers imported from Sonic Foundry/Sony SoundForge (or similar audio editing applications) do not display in Breeze.

Reason

Breeze Presenter supports marker metadata in WAV files as markers for slide transition or animation. This is similar to adding markers to any sound file using Breeze -> Synchronize Audio in Powerpoint. However, MP3 files containing markers will not be recognized in Breeze.

Solution

Do not delete the markers in the MP3 file. Use your audio editing application (such as SoundForge) to convert MP3 audio to WAV in order to maintain marker positions. Import the WAV file in Powerpoint using Breeze > Import Audio. All markers will be recognized as regular audio synchronization markers in the Breeze Presenter PPC file.
