Am I eligible for an education discount?
If you're a student or staff member at an accredited educational institution and want to purchase an Adobe product at a discount, check the eligibility information on the Adobe Education Store for your region: North America | United Kingdom | Germany | France | Europe* | Australia and New Zealand
* For customers in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.
What forms of student/faculty identification are accepted?
Option 1: A photocopy of your school ID. Before submitting the ID, you can cross out any sensitive information, such as a social security number or driver's license number. The school ID must contain the following items:
- School name
- Faculty/student name
- Current* enrollment/employment date
Option 2: One of the following documents:
- School transcript indicating name of school, student, and current* date
- School tuition bill indicating name of school, student, and current* date
- Report card indicating name of school, student, and current* date
- Faculty or staff: A current paycheck stub
- Faculty or staff: A letter from the registrar of the educational entity confirming your current* employment
* Where "current" is within the last six months.

How do I submit my proof of eligibility to get my serial number?
For customers in North America
| I purchased online from Adobe.com | Submit your proof of eligibility when you place your order. If you have a pending order, go to My Orders in your Adobe account, and click Submit Proof. |
| I purchased from Adobe by phone | Submit your proof through the Customer Support Portal. |
| I purchased from a reseller | Your product comes with either a coupon code or a product code. The type of code determines how you get your serial number.

How do I check the status of my education order?
If you purchased on Adobe.com
- In North America: Sign in to My Orders using your Adobe ID and password. Locate your order and click Check Status. You can also visit the eligibility verification service. For both options, you need the product code you received by email and the email address used to place the order.
- In other regions: Use the order status tracker. Make sure that you have the order number from the order confirmation email.
If you purchased from Adobe by phone, or if you purchased from a reseller: Use the order status tracker. You can see whether Adobe has received your order, serial number request, or eligibility documents. You can also see whether your order has been approved. Make sure that you have the order number from the order confirmation email you received from Adobe.
When will I receive my serial number? (How long does verification take?)
If you purchased on Adobe.com:
- In North America: You can expect a response within two business days after receipt of your proof of eligibility. If you need assistance, visit the eligibility verification service.
- In other regions: You can expect a response within one business day after receipt of your proof of eligibility. If you need assistance, contact us.
If you purchased from Adobe by phone: You can expect a response within one business day after receipt of your proof of eligibility. If you need assistance, contact us.
if you purchased from a reseller in North America: You can expect a response within one business day after receipt of your proof of eligibility. If you need assistance, contact us.
TIP: To use your software before you receive the serial number, select the installation option to install the product as a trial. You can use the serial number to convert the product to a nontrial version later.

What products are sold on the Education Store?
The online Education Store sells Adobe products that are available as Education versions. Some products are available as box versions only, while others are available as downloads.
Education pricing isn't offered for upgrades. However, you can upgrade educational products at the regular upgrade prices from an authorized education reseller. Find an education reseller.
How much time do I have to submit my identification before the order expires?
If you purchased on Adobe.com in North America, you have 14 days to submit your proof of eligibility. If you purchased on Adobe.com in other regions, or if you purchased from a reseller, you have six days to submit your proof of eligibility.
If an order expires, you receive email notification and it's necessary to place the order again.
Do you retain my verification for future orders?
In North America, Adobe retains verification information for one year for eligible teachers and six months for eligible students. In all other regions, Adobe retains the information for 90 days. During these periods, it's unnecessary to provide proof of eligibility again for subsequent orders.
(Before November 2011, Adobe did not retain verification information.)
How many products can I buy?
You can purchase one license per platform of any Adobe Student and Teacher Edition product per year. Purchases of suite editions (such as Design Premium or Master Collection) are limited to one title per platform per year. Adobe Student and Teacher Edition products may be used only on your privately owned computer and may not be resold.
Can I place a tax-exempt or VAT-exempt order on the Education Store?
Tax-exempt purchases cannot be made on the online Education Store. To place a tax-exempt order, contact an authorized education reseller. Find an education reseller.
Where can I order Student and Teacher Edition software?
You can obtain Student and Teacher Edition software from the Education Store (North America | United Kingdom | Germany | France | Europe* | Australia and New Zealand), via phone, or from Adobe resellers (North America | Europe, the Middle East, and Africa).
