9-slice scaling guides not visible when editing in place

Issue

If a 9-slice movie clip is nested inside of another clip, then edited in place, the guides are not displayed in their correct positions.

For example:

1. Create a square, and make it a Movie Clip symbol.
   • Select the symbol in the Library. Choose Properties in the Library pop-up menu.
   • If Advanced options are not shown, select the Advanced button
   • Turn "Enable Guides for 9-slice scaling" on.
   • Close Symbol Properties.
   At this point if you edit the symbol in the Library you will see the 9-slice editing guides. The guides will also show in the Library's preview window.
2. Place an instance of the square symbol on the stage
3. Double-click the square clip to edit in place.

The 9-slice guides will not be displayed.

With 9-slice scaled symbols, Editing in Place is not a supported workflow. In other words, 9-slice guides are not designed to be displayed when editing in place. The symbol must be edited directly in the Library.
