A. FormsCentral is an online service optimized for data collection on desktop or mobile devices. FormsCentral creates HTML forms. Acrobat and LiveCycle Designer are both desktop software applications that create PDF forms.
Q. What are the system requirements for FormsCentral?

Q. How many forms can I create with FormsCentral?
A. With a free FormsCentral account, you can create and distribute one form. With a Basic subscription, you can create five forms, and with a Plus subscription you can create an unlimited number of forms.
Q. How much does FormsCentral cost?
A. FormsCentral offers both free and paid subscriptions. A Basic subscription costs $14.99/month; a Plus subscription costs $199/year.
Q. How can I know which FormsCentral subscription is best for me?
A. A Plus subscription costs just $1.60 more per month than a Basic subscription. The Plus subscription offers the best value with unlimited form creation (compared with 5 forms in Basic) and 5,000 responses per form (compared with 500 response per form in basic).

A. FormsCentral employs some of the latest technology available for Internet security, including Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. All form submissions use 128-bit encryption. For more information, see system security.

A. FormsCentral is currently available in English only.
Q. What support is available for FormsCentral?

Q. How do I sign up for FormsCentral?
A. All you need is an Adobe ID, which consists of an e-mail address and password that you create. If you already have an Adobe ID, you can use it with FormsCentral. Go to www.formscentral.com and sign in. If you don't have an Adobe ID, sign up for one at www.formscentral.com.
Q. I forgot my password--how do I reset it?
A. You can reset your password by clicking "Forgot your password?" on the sign-in page for FormsCentral. Watch your e-mail account for a message with instructions for resetting your password.
Q. I haven't received an e-mail address validation.
A. During the e-mail verification and password reset process, messages are sent to your Adobe ID e-mail address. Sometimes spam/junk e-mail folders trap the e-mails.
• Why do I get a "form is no longer accepting responses" error when I try to submit a form?

Q. Why do I get a "form is no longer accepting responses" error when I try to submit a form?
A. This error occurs when there are 7,500 responses to a form. FormsCentral accepts up to 7,500 responses for any form, irrespective of subscription level. To prevent this error, the form author can delete responses so that there are fewer than 7,500.
Q. What does the "Up to 10,000 characters are allowed in this field" error mean?
A. You can only enter up to 10,000 characters in any form field. If you try to enter more than 10,000 characters, FormsCentral returns this error.
Q. What does the "Number field supports up to 15 digits. Please modify your entry" message mean?
A. FormsCentral stores numbers with up to 15 digits of precision. If a number contains more than 15 significant digits, you are prompted to reduce the number of significant digits.
Q. The View Reponses tab shows that I have more responses than what are displayed in the table. Why can't I see them?
A. The number of responses that FormsCentral displays depends on your account level. With a free account, FormsCentral displays up to 50 responses. With a paid Basic subscription, you see up to 500 responses, and with a paid Plus subscription, you see up to 5,000 responses. However, FormsCentral saves up to 7,500 responses on its server. To see responses over the number allotted for your subscription level, you can upgrade your account. FormsCentral stores all responses on the server.
Q. Why are the search results different when I use Google or Flickr from within FormsCentral rather than searching those sites directly?
A. FormsCentral displays only those images that are marked as commercially useable with modifications. For Google search, FormsCentral only displays images are labeled for commercial reuse with modification. For more information, see www.google.com/support/websearch/bin/answer.py?answer=29508. Q. Can I fill in a FormsCentral form using my mobile device?
A. Yes, you can fill out FormsCentral forms using iOS 4.2.1 devices and Android 2.2 devices. FormsCentral supports iPad; iPhone 3G, 3GS, and 4; and iPod touch 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generation. It also supports Android devices such as the Galaxy Tab and Droid family of smartphones.
